I'm literally running out of superlatives for this companies books. now on my 7th Bitmap Book. All have one thing in common, quality, presentation and packaging is second to none. How these books are not sold at twice the price is mind boggling.

Exceptional quality hardcover, paper and artwork. Bitmap Books is the best in the gaming books business. Packaging care and delivery handling/speed are also top notch. Worth your money, especially when toilet paper quality gaming magazines are around ten euros.

This is a hefty tome, filled with so much nostalgia and video game goodness, it’s hard to imagine it’s at such an affordable price. The images are large and colorful and the book design is top-notch!

Another awesome hardcover chock-full of wonderful images of and insights about run 'n' gun games. You can't go wrong here. Worth every penny. As long as Bitmap Books keeps cranking 'em out, I'll keep buying 'em.

So far it is the fifth Bitmap Books book I have purchased, and certainly in line with the quality of all the others.
There is love and care in each volume, but in this one there is a particular work of methodical selection of the video games chosen, and it is done (as always) with intelligence.
If you love run'n'gun and want to know its cornerstones, history, and innovations over the years, this is the volume for you.
Also, of course, I recommend picking up the volume devoted to Metal Slug: The Ultimate History as well - getting them together is almost a must.
