A beautiful tome! One of my favourite gaming genres and this is the holy grail of books on the subject. As always the sublime Bitmap Books production values, research and attention to detail. This collectors edition just made me smile so much. The faux ammo box is just the perfect way to keep this book safe.
I can't recommend this or any of Bitmap Books offerings enough!

This company is hitting a stride with this release. The print and materials are inviting and of wonderful quality. The clarity of every page should hold up quite well. I only wish they had numbered the boxes.

If you’ve read “Go Straight” you’ll have a good idea of the premise here. This is a massive compendium of the genre, filled with not just game by game breakdowns, but additional essays and history of the eras. This has high quality design work, layouts, details and even the box it ships in is well packaged and thought out down to the detail.
This gets a huge recommendation from me if you’re looking for an amazing retro gaming book.

The Bitmap Books guys did it (again)!! I know all my reviews on this site may sound the same, but I can't help to mention (again) how impressed I am with the overall quality of this book. The packaging was (again) superb, and the delivery time was (again) just a few days. I just had a glance at the contents, but will read thoroughly this weekend.
